A smaller show fo sheep forward today leaving buyers lacking in number! Some good, well fed hoggs on offer with top p/kg of the day going to P Cass at 290p/kg for a nice pen of 4x41kg Beltex X. Top grossing hoggs sold to “140 from regular supporter S Bristow; All in average of 240p/kg with SQQ of 256, a lift of nearly 26p on the week! Ewes a lot easier to sell this week with all types firmly in demand. Top price heaviest types from M Nesom selling to £135, and a tup to £118. Top average £98/head.
