Calves

A nice few calves and stirks forward today kindly judged by regular mart supporter Keith Dunn. M I C Slater took all three places in the bull calf class with a super consignment of Hereford x selling to £470 and took all three places for best heifer calf with his Herefords again, the top selling to £490.

In the stirk classes common lane farm took both first and second place with their blue bulls selling to £565 followed by a fleckvieh from A Rooke.

The Rooke family managed to take all 3 places in the heifer class with the top two selling to £660 a head to the judge Keith Dunn.

All calves and stirks were keenly sought after with numerous farmers and new buyers turning up looking for stock. Thank you to all who supported today!
