Our biggest show of new season lambs forward so far this year, with some very nice types penned. Top price for both ppkg and top gross going to regular mart supporters JB Potter. Hoggs still good to sell with 178 penned, top ppkg a respectable 311/ kg from S Bristow and top gross of £171 from W&M Birkley. A few light and plain sorts in which pulled the SQQ and overall average down but all in all good to sell. Ewes were trade of the day with all types very good to sell, with tops of £190 for some well meated texels and brilliant average of £131. Only 8 pens under £100!
