Calves sold to £695 for a British Blue from N Harvey.   

Breeding cattle sold to £660 for a British Shorthorn cow from R & P M Horsley.
Heifers sold to £1480 for a Limousin from J M Walker.          
Steers sold to £1375 for an Aberdeen Angus from B Basham.

Bulls sold to £1785 for a Limousin from J M Walker.

Calves

Only a very small show of stirks forward today and numbers of stores down too with everyone making the best of the weather getting silage in. Top price of the day went to, new vendor, N Harvey for a fantastic blue bull selling to £695, and a BRB X SIM heifer from the same home selling to £655, the dearest stirks seen for a long time! A pair of Hereford heifers from local vendor Quentin brook sold well to £560 a head and a smaller dairy shorthorn stirk from the Boyes family sold well to £355. More good strong calves from M I C Slater expected next week, please contact Edward or James with entries!
