Calves

Some real quality calves penned today, and trade was what can only be described as electric! Fresh calves from regular mart supporters Riseborough farms looked a phenomenal trade with blue bulls selling to £415, two smaller black and white calves romped away well over auctioneer’s expectations to £220, and £165, all others in the consignment keenly bid for.

A consignment of very nice British Friesian bull stirks sold to £575 a head from R & E B Drake, a good run of blue heifers and bulls from N Harvey followed and the fierce trade continued selling from £590 to £750 for a show stopping heifer, and others from the same home nicely over £600!

Plenty of buyers here every week with a lot once again going home empty, calves and stirks in demand every week! Call James or Edward to discuss your requirements!
