There are two rare breed sales held each year both of which are run in conjunction with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and with the help of York Centre Support Group.

The main Autumn show and sale in early October is one of the largest and longest running sales in the country. 

The Spring sale takes place in April. 

Both sales include a wide range of rare and minority breeds of cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs.
