SHEEP

Just a small show today with a lot of vendors reporting lambs not fit with the constant wet weather and one or two busy with the England match last night! But the vendors who made it were rewarded with a trade better than expected, with all vendors and on-lookers saying they were delighted! Many, many more could have been sold with 4 buyers present on several accounts. The top price lamb today was presented by R A Suddaby which sold to £148 or 318ppkg, for a super Tex X Tup lamb, and Cornborough farms also sold char x lambs to 318p/kg or £140/ head. All lambs forward today to average a respectable 306ppkg, lambs in the 45-52kgs bracket averaged 313.86/kg.
