SHEEP

The last prime lamb sale of the year saw some real quality lambs forward today, an absolute credit to the vendors and all sorts flew away to an electric trade. Top pp/kg today once again went to R A Dobson at 304/kg (£137/ head) and top grossing lambs from D C Nesom realised £163/ head for some good looking well fed texels. The SQQ today was a healthy 270.67 and all in average 268.56, plenty of lambs today in the 280-290ppkg range.  In the cull section, a good number of ewes sold to £130 for a super beltex from R A Dobson with all types finding their trade.  Tups sold to £118 from Coney green farm.
