SHEEP

A very small show in across all sections today with most vendors busy trying to get drilled up. Those who made it were well rewarded with a fast trade for weight and meat, with the best well finished lambs selling to £136 from M L Parvin. The Parvin family also achieved the top ppkg of the day at 298ppkg for some shapely 42kgs texel lambs.  The all in average had just lifted a few pence to 260. In the cull section, a healthy average of £101.98 was achieved across the board, with the top price today topping out at £144/ head for a super pair of blue texels, mules sold to £94 and Rams topped at £148 for a texel.

35 Lambs sold to 298p/kg from M L Parvin and to £136 also from M L Parvin; to average 258.33p/kg.
