SHEEP
A much-improved entry this week with some well finished consignments forward, trade up again on the week with GH West topping the pp/kg at 422p/kg! Top grossing lambs also came from Mr West selling to £209/ head for a pen of superb blue texels. Quite a lot of texel x mule bred hoggs forward today which reflects in the average but still an average of 353.46 looks very respectable. Only one pen of lambs in today under £120! All well-bred and well-fed sorts regularly in the high 180’s and 190’s! In the cull section only a handful of well fleshed types sold to £175 for some good texels and £158 for a pen of Suffolks from W G Coleman & partners, to average £156.
