Calves

A good row full of calves met a very fast trade with plenty buyers round the ring all looking to stock up. The top stirk of the day was presented by R & E B Drake realising £645 for a strong Limousin bull. With other strong stirks from the same home selling to £550 for a very nice British Friesian bull. A good consignment of strong calves from M I C Slater sold to £595 for a very nice Hereford x montbeliarde bull and to £555 twice for heifers, all calves in the consignment £505 and upwards. Fresh calves sold to £265 for both BRB X bulls and heifers and all others selling away nicely.
