A Nice entry of mainly fresh calves forward today from both regular vendors and some we haven’t seen for while. All types met a good trade with buyers just favouring either fresh calves or stronger weaned types as opposed to freshly weaned. The top price bull calf today was presented by Askham Bryan College; a nice blue x selling to £320, the joint top price heifers both sold to £335 from Askham Bryan College and Messers Skelton. A run of fresh calves from B Rab sold to £265 for a tidy little blue bull, black and white bulls looked a tremendous trade selling to tops of £110. Calves ands stirks always in demand, to enter yours, call James on 07984400902.
