TOP PRICES

Calves sold to £470 for a Hereford from M I C Slater.

Breeding cattle sold to £1330 for a Limousin X Cow with a Heifer Limousin Calf at foot from L A Clappison.  
Heifers sold to £1020 for a Limousin X from T E & R Dent.

Steers sold to £1095 for a Limousin X from G Ellis.

Bulls sold to £900 for a Hereford from R A Eddon.

A nice little show of calves and stirks forward today with a run of fresh calves from B W & F Rab selling to £280 twice for blue bulls and native heifers selling to £135, with nearly all calves in the consignment selling to a new East Yorkshire buyer. A couple of larger Hereford x heifers straight off the cow from M I C Slater sold to £470 and £350 to regular mart supporter Keith Dunn. Next up were a good run of black and white stirks from the Avis family selling to £375 3 times. All sorts in the market keenly sought after today, plenty can be sold every week!
