FORWARD

York Auction Centre had 129 head of stock through the market including 104 store cattle and 25 calves.

TOP PRICES

Calves sold to £420 for a Limousin X from I & P Kilner.

Heifers sold to £1515 for a Aberdeen Angus from L A Clappison.

Steers sold to £1460 for a British Blue from M P & K Trousdale.

Bulls sold to £1195 for a Limousin X from T E & R Dent.

Calves

A lovely show of calves forward today with a lot of fresh calves penned. A super run of good rearing calves from J E & M Else sold very well to buyers old and new, with bull calves selling to £365 and heifers to £290. Next up was a consignment of weaned black and white bulls from B Lumley which sold to tops of £345 for a superb bull, only one larger weaned Limousin x heifer forward today which sold to £420 from I&P Kilner. All calves and stirks keenly bid for and all vendors returned home happy, more good calves already entered for next week! For all enquiries call James on 07984400902.
