SHEEP

Lambs better to sell over all this week with a lift of nearly 20pp/kg on both the SQQ and overall average to 284.03ppkg, and 281.12 respectively. Weight very much in demand with buyers really looking for 45kgs upwards, but that said a 39kg beltex from Andrew Dobson topped the pp/kg at 333/kg, plenty heavy lambs in from Richard Greenbank sold regularly around the 280-290ppkg mark with 2 pens of heavy sorts topping the day £160/ head.
